I hate secrets!!

I'm terrible at Christmas time. So with the cat out of the bag with our parents and close family I'll go ahead and update friends and the blogworld

That's right Brandon and I are expecting our first child in March 2009! We are keeping with the McCollough tradition and adding another March birthday to the long list. We are very early in our pregnancy (4 1/2 weeks)and we have our first ultrasound in 2 weeks but we feel so blessed and overjoyed that we(I) couldn't hold it in for any longer. I lasted a week, that should count for something! I truly have the most amazing husband that I fall deeper in love with everyday. He has given me the best anniversary gift ever. We will celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary tomorrow with a little bun in the oven, what more could a girl ask for :)

Nacogdoches

Not even sure if that's spelled right but that's where we spent our weekend! B had a baseball tournament there and I figured surely there's something I can do there so I decided to tag along with him. Well let me tell you there is absolutely NOTHING in this town except a college and a Wal-Mart. They didn't even have a Target.

We left around 5:30 Friday and stayed at a very nice Holiday Inn Express that had the best cinnamon rolls for breakfast! It's my new favorite place to stay for this reason!

Saturday we had to get up at 6:30 because B had a early game and sure enough as soon as we got to the fields it started pouring rain. Luckily it was only for 20 minutes and all it did was make it muggier(spelling? good thing I'm not a LA teacher) and provide me this while sitting in the car!

Then it rained at his 3:00 game as well. But it definitely kept the heat down just not the steam!

So we had nothing to do on Saturday night but go to the DQ and take pictures of our selves...yes we are dorks! But that's what makes us perfect for eachother. All in all we had a great weekend!

Watch out for the hand...it's gonna get you!

Another year down...60 more to go!

Well I turned 26 yesterday! I'm not big on birthdays anymore, at least not mine, last year I turned 24 part 2 and then I decided I'd go ahead and turn 26 this year. Man I'm getting old! Funny how as you get older people keep asking you when are you going to start having kids, or as my dad put it at dinner the other night, when are you gonna pop one out you know you aren't getting any younger!! Thanks dad :)I thought it was bad when we first got married and people asked that question but apparently you can't escape it. That's ok, all in due time.

We went and saw Kung Fu Panda last night with Marcy, Kevin and the boys. It was pretty good, I think I laughed at Ben and Andy more than I did the movie, which is no surprise, those boys are funny!! Thanks Marcy for inviting us.

Oh by the way, I found my camera, started taking pictures but can't find the cord to hook it up to the computer, go figure!!

I have all but 3 boxes unpacked!! So I'm done with that. Just organizing the house. A teacher during the summer with no kids and no life is pretty sad. I just sit around the house and mess on the computer or watch Baby Story, Birth Day, Yummy Mummy, Bringing Home Baby or my all time favorite Jon and Kate plus 8! I know, baby fever!! Pretty sad :) I do however walk every night with the dogs and Brandon. I love our walk. It gives us a chance to hang out and relax at the end of the day and the dogs are really enjoying it!

New thing I found

That's right, 3rd day on summer break and I'm already finding things to occupy my time, besides summer school. By the way, WHAT WAS I THINKING!! We had a work day today and we start tomorrow with students. I keep telling myself, 1/2 days and it's only for 4 weeks, I can do it!!! Here the new thing I found, scrap blogging!! I really need to find my camera.

Some of my favorites

Here are some of my favorite pictures I found on B's photobucket:

I know this is B's favorite

Sweet Ben, wish he was still this small

This is what I miss most (Bear's big ole' head)

Well we made it....

Barely, but we got everything moved to the house except a queen size bed that's over at my parents and a few things over at B's parents. I didn't think I would make it!!! This move I think has been the most stressful of moves for several reasons: moving twice in 8 weeks is too tiring and it's been really busy/stressful at work!!

Thanks to Ronnie, Brandon and my dad for putting up the dog run this weekend! Now the puppies have a new place to lay their heads. Also a huge help to my mom for pretty much doing anything I ask of her....she was a HUGE help especially doing my closet and kitchen things.

I'm half way done with unloading boxes and really just have to decorate and get things the way I want them. We still have to figure out what we want to do with the tv arrangement b/c our tv won't fit in the opening.

Brandon and I feel so blessed with this house and our family. We are so happy to be back under the same roof! I'll post some pics tomorrow for all to see.
