Easter 2014

We had a great Easter weekend. Saturday we celebrated my grandmother's 85th bday with family and then Easter Sunday we went to B's sister's house for lunch. The boys loved the confetti eggs. 

The addition to our house and pool is coming along nicely. I cannot wait for it to be done so we aren't living in a construction mess and so that I can start landscaping!

This week we were given 4 tickets to see the Rangers play. Brody and Jax had been fighting a lot so I thought this would be a great opportunity to give them some much needed away tune! 

Brody loved it! The Rangers have a play area for kids that he had a blast at, he also loved the pizza and baseball helmet ice cream. 

Such a great memory! 

Too long

It's been way too long since I've blogged! We are so busy and time just flies. 

Brody is now 5 and we are gearing up for  the start of kindergarten in a few short months! Cannot believe how big he has grown. I have an interview on April 14th at the school he will be attending, so hopefully we will be going to the same place next year! Fingers crossed.

Jax is 3 and had to get a new set of tubes last month. Poor guy had a blood clot in one ear where the old tube tore away. He started speech 2 weeks ago and his vocabulary has grown and grown in the past month! 

Landry is not a baby anymore :( he's now 22 months and runs with the big boys like he is one. 

They are loving staying home with Nanny and it's such a blessing! My parents are adding a small addition to our house since they are here all the time and we are also putting in a pool for the endless amounts of energy the boys have. This is the house they will grow up in and we want to create an environment that they and their friends will love to come to. 

Here's our life over the past 10 months, hopefully I will get better about blogging. 

We had the flu over Christmas :( never seen the bits so miserable! 

Landry-1 year!

I cannot believe my littlest will be a year tomorrow. I've been thinking of that day often and it brings me back to the fact that God spoke to me the night before he was delivered. I've often heard people say "God spoke to me" and I've never fully understood what they've meant; did you hear a voice, have a feeling, what do you mean by he spoke to you?
One year ago I was going through an awful time with my pregnancy, Landry wasn't growing well & he definitely wasn't moving inside of me that great. A year agoI had a dream, it was one that shook me to my core & will stay with me forever. I woke up in a cold sweat, with my heart pounding & tears in my eyes. I dreamt that we had lost Landry, that he had died in utero. It felt so real that I could feel the heartache of what could had been. The next morning, I went into the hospital & found out Landry was in distress and needed to be delivered. My dream hadn't come true because I was warned, God had spoken to me. I am forever thankful that my merciful Lord allowed Landry to stay on this Earth & be apart of our family! There isn't a day that goes by that I do not cherish these 3 little miracles that have been given to us.

Happy birthday Landry! You aren't miracle & I love you so much!

House is complete!

There are a few things that need to be done, like the well house upfront and sod the back. The sod comes from Oklahoma so they've been behind bc of the tornadoes :(

We had our walk through and today they worked on getting everything fixed. They will finish up tomorrow & clean Thursday when we close!! Friday we will be moving in, cannot wait!
