Landry: 20 weeks

Cannot believe how fast this pregnancy is going. Technically hit half way mark last week or maybe even the week before(God willing that's the earliest he will arrive) I'm feeling great pregnancy wise although I am battling the worst cold of my life. Heck it might even be a sinus infection and I'm just too stubborn to go to the doctor just yet. Must kick it before next week with the State testing that we get to suffer through.

Landry is moving all around, more active in the mornings than at night. I think I must have "popped" because EVERYONE that sees me this week comments on how big my bump is. Or it's because I was off last week and they just haven't seen me in a week. But there's definitely a babe in there growing away.

Your baby weighs about 10 1/2 ounces now. He's also around 6 1/2 inches long from head to bottom and about 10 inches from head to heel — the length of a banana. (For the first 20 weeks, when a baby's legs are curled up against his torso and hard to measure, measurements are taken from the top of his head to his bottom — the "crown to rump" measurement. After 20 weeks, he's measured from head to toe.)
He's swallowing more these days, which is good practice for his digestive system. He's also producing meconium, a black, sticky by-product of digestion.

Congrats on the halfway point (although you are already past halfway)!

Hope you feel better soon!
